Great flat water kiting from low to mid tide, becomes choppy after that. Limited beach at high tide so respect other beach users. Quite a small bay and can become very crowded on big days, Kohimarama is an option if this is too busy. Shallow water from Low to mid tide but be careful at low as it can be too shallow!
Watch out for the rocks at either ends of the beach, there are some patches of sharp shells to cut your feet on.
