Description:

Learners should be very careful at this location but it is still kiteable. Sharp shells can wreck kites and booties are advised. Best at mid tide as the sandbar is exposed which makes launching easier however it is made of sharp shells so assistance in launching is recomended.
Pump up on the grass by the playground and walk out to the end of the sandspit.
Flat water kiting for the more advanced on the Northern side of the sandbar if the wind is westerly enough. Great spot for spectators.
